Wednesday, July 28th, 2010. Happy Hump Day Ladies.....
Well, here we are mid week.

A busy day or me.. Going to eye drs apt with MIL first thing then meeting DH for a Chinese dinner. Our Annivesary gift from her. Cake & Ice cream for dessert at her house after that. Not planning to eat any supper. Lunch at Boston Pizza with the girls from work tomorrow. I AM trying to loose weight but they're not supporting me at all.  Our Anniversary is tomorrow... 31 years.

Ah! Missed you K#1... sorry about that. I'm liking the sound of a Chinese meal. Haven't had one of those for over a month.
When I got up this morning at about 6:30 I was astounded to see DS in the backyard, finishing off painting the screen door  LOL   He's taken it all apart last week and has been working on it since. Hopefully we'll get the glass back in today.
I have a bit of work to get done today, but hopefully there'll also  bw time for some sitting outside, it's looking lovely out there!

Morning ladies, I was talking to Taryn on MSN, she said the smoke is dreadful now in Moscow, she's surprised it hasn't been on the news here, though I have seen a couple of reports on the heat there. She was off to meet her friend (unfortunately he has wife in tow...hmmm.. Roll Eyes..) This is where they are meeting, looks very cool, it will be nice to be under the trees!

Well, I think I will make the effort for the naked beach today, despite rush-hour traffic, it's so darn nice out, how can I waste a day! Cool

Aqua-fit was interesting last night...are middle-aged North American women really in that bad shape?? pretty depressing all the health woes they seem to have...I think I was one of the older ones there, yikes, what are they all doing to themselves!

Back from all my running. MIL presented us with an anniversary cake....more calories. Her intentions are good. (I keep telling myself anyway).

Happy Wednesday, and Happy Anniversary to K#1 and her mister...

Hot, slightly humid with a light breeze...ahhhhh summer

Just missed having coffee with K's mom....met a mutual friend at Starbucks, and Janet had just left  Undecided Enjoyed a light caramel frappuchino on the patio, watching the cars drive by. Nice visit, too....my friends daughter is a wonderful singer, actress, violin player...so we chatted about what direction she wants to go now that she has graduated from high school. the Daughter is going to an opera camp, and has been accepted by a pretty decent vocal coach at the U of Lethbridge....but she thinks she wants to go to Nashville and do some country tunes.

I went for a laser treatment on my shoulders...still not exactly sure what is wrong but it's where the pec meets the bicep on the shoulder....sore, limited range of motion....I was told to NOT work out at the gym, just focus on very gentle stretches and ice ice baby... I guess it's just walking for the next while.

Hi, Wendy.  Too bad on just missing Janet Sad  but nice to visit with a friend.  Do take care of that shoulder of yours, sorry to hear it's giving you grief.  Good luck to your friend's daughter.   Hope she goes to the university to take advantage of the vocal coaching.  I'm sure that it will help her in whatever type of music she wants to pursue.

Thanks for the reminder for K#1.  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FOR TOMORROW, WITH MANY MORE TO COME!

Just galloping through to the kitchen to cook, beach was sooo wonderful...I would live in the ocean if I could...anywho, 104 tomorrow in Moscow! Taryn got trapped in the hostel, I think the door melted shut, lol...she had to say good-bye to her dear friends, well one in particular, it's hard to say adieu when the wife is there, poop...he should get a divorce and come to Canada... Roll Eyes I think she's a little heartbroken Undecided
